Author of over 40 scientific publications in Bulgarian and international peer-reviewed journals with an Impact Factor (IF). Participation in three research projects in the fields of genodermatoses, non-melanoma skin tumors, and epidermolysis bullosa.
More than 60 participations in scientific conferences, symposia, and seminars, with presentations of oral communications, posters, and abstracts.
2018 – Recipient of an award from the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV) for the research project entitled “Molecular Characterization of Epidermal Nevi”, as a member of the research team led by Prof. Kristina Haas, Freiburg, Germany.
Over 500 teaching hours annually, delivering undergraduate education at the Department of Dermatology and Venereology, Medical University of Sofia, to medical students, dental medicine students, pharmacy students (in Bulgarian and English), as well as medical cosmeticians at the Yordanka Filaretova Medical College, Sofia.
