GUNA MD Collagen Therapy
What is GUNA MD Facial Collagen Therapy?
GUNA MD Collagen Therapy is an innovative biological treatment that naturally stimulates the process of neocollagenesis – the formation of new, intact collagen. It can be performed as a standalone procedure or combined with other anti-aging treatments to enhance and prolong their results.
When minimal doses (100 μg/2 ml) of GUNA MD-Tissue collagen are administered, a direct signal is sent to fibroblasts – the cells responsible for producing the skin’s own collagen.
GUNA MD-Tissue collagen is biocompatible – the body does not recognize it as a foreign substance, eliminating the risk of granulomatous inflammation, which can occur with high-molecular collagen products.
How does GUNA MD-Tissue Collagen Therapy work?
- Builds a strong and stable collagen network that supports and maintains the lifting effect in the treated area for a longer period.
- Prevents the breakdown of existing collagen in the skin by inhibiting destructive processes.
- Strengthens blood vessel walls, reducing fragility and permeability.
- Neutralizes free radicals, slows cellular aging, and helps maintain longer cell lifespan.
- Shortens the time needed for dermal regeneration.
- Reduces side effects following procedures such as botulinum toxin or laser therapy.
- Aids in detoxifying the extracellular matrix (ECM), where waste products and toxins accumulate.
- Regulates melanin production, evening out skin pigmentation and helping to prevent hyperpigmentation.
How is the therapy applied?
Method: GUNAPHORESIS
Gunaphoresis is a device using resonance electromagnetophoresis, which employs a magnetic field and special gel facilitators to deliver the active collagen-based ingredients deep into the skin layers.
Advantages:
- Reaches significant penetration depth;
- Ensures high absorption rate of the product;
- Painless, as no injections are required;
- No risk of burns, as no electric current passes through the tissues.
