Microneedling with Sylfirm X

RF microneedling is a combined system for delivering radio frequency (RF) energy by precisely and deeply creating controlled micro-injuries with special microneedles (microneedling) in the skin.

In this way, the production of new collagen and elastin is stimulated. RF microneedling is primarily used for skin tightening, lifting, and rejuvenation, treating scars, enlarged pores, and more.

SYLFIRM X is a non-surgical, minimally invasive RF microneedling system that is FDA and CE approved. This innovative device is the world's first and only dual-wave system (a combination of continuous and pulsed waves) that additionally combines radio frequency and microneedling.

All procedures are preceded by a dermatological aesthetic consultation and clinical examination, during which an individual therapeutic plan is drawn up for each patient.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is the difference between SYLFIRM X and other RF microneedling procedures?

Continuous wave (CW) and pulsed wave (Pulsed wave - PW) are types of waves that emit radio frequency. According to the waveform, the skin reaction looks different and can be used to effectively treat specific dermatological problems.

The continuous wave (CW) used in traditional RF microneedling systems emits RF energy for a predetermined period of time. This induces collagen remodeling with intense heat of 55-60°C and is suitable for skin rejuvenation, tightening, lifting and scar treatment. The pulse type wave (PW) was developed for the first time in the world by ViOL (South Korea). If it is delivered to the skin in the form of multiple pulses, the heat reaches 42-45°C. This triggers tissue response and regeneration. It is suitable for the treatment of pigment and vascular lesions such as melasma, diffuse redness, rosacea, etc. In addition, the penetration depth of the microneedles can be adjusted from 0.3-4.0 mm. The system can be used to treat lesions on both the body and the face.

SYLFIRM X uses a robotic motor during the procedure. This allows the microneedles to penetrate the skin evenly and smoothly with minimal pain.

In what cases is SYLFIRM X used?

The device is used for skin rejuvenation, tightening and lifting, as well as for the treatment of scars, various hyperpigmentation and vascular lesions, such as melasma, diffuse redness and rosacea, which are difficult to treat with conventional RF microneedling systems.

Is RF microneedling better than conventional microneedling?

Traditional microneedling causes mechanical damage to the skin, and collagen production is also stimulated during the recovery period.

In contrast, RF microneedling is an advanced procedure that combines RF and microneedling. In a controlled way, it creates deeper and more precise micro-injuries in the target layers of the skin, with the additional thermal action of the RF energy stimulating more efficient collagen production.

Can the SYLFIRM X procedure be combined with Botox or fillers?

Yes, SYLFIRM X can be used together with Botox or fillers for a synergistic and complementary effect of anti-aging procedures. It is recommended to start with the SYLFIRM X appliance procedure first, then follow up with botox or filler injections a few weeks later. In the event that injection therapy has already been carried out, it is recommended that the SYLFIRM X appliance procedure be carried out no earlier than 4 weeks, as heat could reduce the effectiveness of Botox and hyaluronic filler.

In which patients is the SYLFIRM X appliance procedure suitable?

  • In patients with sagging and lax skin;
  • When fine lines, wrinkles and enlarged pores are present;
  • For acne scars, other types of scars or stretch marks;
  • In case of hyperpigmentation, melasma or photodamaged skin;
  • In diffuse redness and rosacea; In active acne vulgaris.

Can SYLFIRM X not only treat the face but also the body?

The depth of the microneedles can be adjusted over a wide range from 0.3 mm to 4.0 mm. The treatment can be performed on both the face and the body, being adjusted according to the depth of the target skin layer and the skin thickness of the treated area.

They could be treated:

  • Neck and neckline
  • Double chin
  • Abdomen and buttocks
  • Arms and thighs

Can SYLFIRM X treat scars, stretch marks and loose skin on the body?

Stretch marks represent tearing of collagen and elastin fibers, most often appear during pregnancy and after childbirth, drastic weight gain or loss, rapid growth during puberty, hormonal imbalance. They are most often in the areas of the abdomen, thighs, hips, chest, and the inside of the arms.

Radiofrequency microneedling SYLFIRM X – one of the strongest solutions against stretch marks, significantly improving and reducing their appearance.

It is recommended to do between 4 and 6 procedures at an interval of 4-6 weeks.

How many procedures are needed to achieve the maximum result?

It is recommended to do between 2 and 3 treatments at an interval of 4-6 weeks. However, the number of sessions and the interval between individual procedures may vary depending on the condition of the skin and the individual needs of each patient.

When should we expect an effect from the procedure with SYLFIRM X?

Initial changes after SYLFIRM X therapy become visible a few days after the procedure. They are best deployed after about 3-4 weeks. Follow-up procedures are planned no earlier than 30-40 days in order to achieve a maximally good result.

What to expect after the SYLFIRM X procedure?

Usually, the skin appears slightly red and swollen with a slight burning sensation, which is normal immediately after the procedure. These symptoms resolve in most cases within 4-6 hours, but can sometimes last 1 to 5 days. The severity and duration of symptoms may vary depending on the area treated, the intensity or the condition of the skin.

When can makeup be applied after the procedure?

Makeup and skin washing can be done 4-6 hours after the procedure or 1 day after intensive treatment.
