Labiaplasty
Labiaplasty is a surgical intervention used in aesthetic gynecology to correct the minor labia.
The goals are to achieve symmetry, reduce size, achieve better aesthetic results after childbirth, post-traumatic lesions or natural aging processes.
Patients indicated for labiaplasty often complain about discomfort during sports, movement or sexual contact, as well as concern about the appearance of their labia which accordingly affects their sexual life and self-esteem.

There are different types of labiaplasty, the most commonly used being the simple labiaplasty, in which the edges of the labia are cut out and stitched in the lip area.
The desired end result is determined by the patient's needs and understanding, in conjunction with his or her AG specialist.
Possible correction of the hood of the clitoris and the entrance to the vagina is also discussed in the plan and course of the operation, in order to acquire a finished appearance.
Labiaplasty at MC MARKOVS is performed with a Sectum radiofrequency device. Compared to the traditional electroknife or laser technique, this causes minimal trauma to the surrounding tissues, resulting in an optimal aesthetic result and minimal post-operative swelling.
