How does the procedure go?
EMSELLA® therapy is simple and painless. The procedure is performed on the EMSELLA® electromagnetic chair. No special preparation is required on your part. On a convenient pre-selected day and time, your Ob/Gyne specialist will position you on the chair after a proper set up of the device with the corresponding program. A slight tickling and/or contraction of the muscles in the pelvic floor area is usually felt during the procedure. The procedure does not hurt, does not cause discomfort and does not require removing clothes. You can return to your daily activities immediately after the session.
How long is the therapy and how many procedures are needed?
The duration of each procedure is 30 minutes. A total of 6 treatments over a 3-week period is recommended for optimal results.
